The Russian Patients Union announced a federal expert round table for 30 September 2026 on a roadmap for improving cystic fibrosis care in Russia.
The initiative forms part of a project on public oversight of healthcare for people with cystic fibrosis. Over the year, participants analysed regional services and collected patient requests and feedback to inform proposals for federal and regional authorities.
Healthcare-systems expert Alexey Fedorov was scheduled to present the roadmap. The announced participants included Union co-chairs Yan Vlasov and Yury Zhulev, medical geneticist Sergey Kutsev, cystic fibrosis specialist Elena Kondratyeva and regional public experts.
