On 5 October, Teachers' Day, the Polytechnic College of Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University hosted a “Responsible Patient” quiz for teaching staff.

Teams answered questions, discussed situations and drew on their own experience to explore how people can take an active role in caring for their health. The format highlighted cooperation between patients, medical professionals, families and non-profit organisations.

The activity was led by Lyubov Pavlova, chair of the Novgorod RuMSS branch. It formed part of the Russian Patients Union programme on responsible patient behaviour and the role of non-profit organisations, supported by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
